Comments: Very good/excellent audience recording. Notes from the seeder: This is one of the four vinyl bootlegs
that exist of Cocteau Twins material: "Lovers are Mortal",
"Scream", "Night Must Fall" and "Unrealised
Dreams". This is the only one that contains live material and has never
been released elsewhere in any other format. The other three vinyls contain
tracks from their various radio sessions that were later compiled by the band
and released on a 2cd set called "BBC Sessions". All except in "Unrealised
Dreams" where you can find alternate versions of two tracks, "In our
Angelhood" and "Ivo" that I include in this torrent as bonus
tracks.
"Lovers are Mortal" is a very sought-after numbered edition orange
vinyl. I've included artwork for you cd taken from the original cover of the
album.
The quality is very good for a 22-year-old audience recording, to me better than
the bootleg cd "London 1986", but judge for yourselves!
The source of all tracks is: Original vinyl --> SoundForge --> CDR -->
FLAC
The change of sides is not very well done in the original record (tracks 5 to 6)
and that's how it appears in this digital version. You'll find that
"Feathers oar blades" and "Hazel" were performed almost
continuously, though the beginning of "Hazel" fades out at the end of
track 5 (last track on side A) to start again fading in in track 6 (first track
of side B). That's how the bootleg goes, nothing has been edited there.
Transition between tracks 8 and 9 is also kind of rough, but that's also in the
original vinyl. "Ivo (version)" fades a little early, but that's also
the way it is.
Hope you enjoy it and excuse my slow seeding. I know you'll help me seeding it
as you're already doing with the 2 dvds I uploaded.
